Stephen Archdeacon
Stephen Archdeacon has always been an artist. Encouraged by an education oriented family, Stephen was exposed to great art collections in Boston and New York from an early age. After achieving art degrees and accumulating work experience, his artistic interests led him to metalsmithing and a career in the jewelry business. Fine jewelry designs featuring dazzling colored stones became a hallmark of Stephen’s creations.
Archdeacon’s love of color continues to be expressed in his paintings.
Vibrant colors, as well as subtle ones are featured in abstract works on
canvas, panel and paper. An enduring love of modern art is evident in Stephen’s
work, along with a strong influence of the modernist design aesthetic of
his southern California desert surroundings. Abstract paintings in Stephen’s
bold, free style are always created with the goal of expressing the essence
of “contemporary luxury”.
